There are no contracts; tuition is due on the first lesson of
each month. The tuition amount is the same regardless of
the number of weeks in the month.
Registration: There is a one
time family registration fee. (Please contact the studio
for the current rate.) The fee is satisfied by one member
of the family and applies even if different instruments are

Missed Lessons:
Your teacher will usually allow an occasional missed lesson to
be made up. However, due to scheduling, we can not guarantee
that all missed lessons can be made up. The tuition remains the
same each month, regardless of any missed lessons. No reduction
in tuition due to missed lessons will be accepted. In the event
that your teacher misses a lesson, the teacher will provide a
make up lesson. Your cooperation is appreciated.
Referrals:
Tell your friends and neighbors about our two locations: Katy
Music Studio and West Oaks Music Studio. If a new student at
either location gives us your name when they register, you will
receive one free lesson per referral.

Recitals: Katy Music Studio
hosts recitals in November and May. All students are
invited and encouraged to participate. Our recitals give
students the opportunity to prepare a piece of music to be
performed for their parents, teachers, friends and family.
All students receive an award for performing.
Books and Materials: The
teacher selects the books for each student on a
student‑by‑student basis. All books and materials/equipment are
to be paid for by the student.
Summer Lessons:
In order to
maintain students musical progress, Katy Music Studio continues
lessons in June, July and August with our regular teaching
schedule.
Practice:
Good practice
habits need to be developed from the onset and maintained during
music study. Teachers will provide assistance in
developing a practice plan if needed.
